Senior Sous Chef - 4 Star Hotel Sligo
Our Client are currently looking to recruit a Senior Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef. Primary Purpose of the Role. Working closely alongside the Head Chef, you will be responsible for helping to develop the 130-seater restaurant business andbring new, fresh and energeticideas to our menu while ensuring consistency and a high skilled presentation. Essential Skills: Proven quality sous chef experience in a reputable establishment. Be a consistently enthusiastic and professional team player with a can-do attitude, whilst demonstrating a passion for innovative cooking. HACCP trained and excellent food hygiene standards. Be able to design, cost and deliver seasonal menus using fresh local produce. Thrive working under pressure and have a good work ethic. Have excellent attention to detail and strive for the highest standards. Desirable Skills: The ideal candidate will be passionate about foodand will consistently demonstrate excellent presentation and standards skills. The ideal person will be a team player and team leaderand can maintain effective relationships with the front of house team. A culinary arts/apprenticeship qualification is desired.
