This company has been in operation for over 20 years and continue to supply leading retailers worldwide with diverse and revolutionary products. Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of specialist packaging solutions, increasing turnover massively in the past year and due to this along with recent and planned new product launches, growth of this organisation is expected to continue, pushing a need for a strong Quality Manager to join their North West operation. The Role. As the Quality Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work to enhance and maintain a systematic approach to the control of manufacturing processes, thus ensuring that customers receive products which meet specifications and other agreements. The Quality Manager will act independently to make appropriate decisions on discrepant material, ensuring the operational integrity of all parties. Key Responsibilities. Lead the Quality group; Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians (and others) in process improvement activities. Ensure all specifications and quality agreements are met to ensure overall quality compliance. Oversee all quality control aspects of the manufacturing processes. Communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally with customers. The Person: A third level qualification in a discipline relevant to a Quality or Manufacturing discipline. A third level qualification in a discipline relevant to a Quality or Manufacturing discipline. A minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Management role. A working knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing processes. A proven knowledge of Quality systems requirements, including ISO and BRC.
