What you need to know. You will work as an Operations Supervisor for our client, a highly successful and ambitious manufacturing company in Donegal . As an Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for all manufacturing support functions. You will provide direction to various departments of the operation to ensure efficient performance. This is a permanent job. The salary is €60-65K + benefits . Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Maintain and provide efficient backup to the planning, quality, HR and supply department and ensure achievement of all internal and external needs. Support and maintain a safe working environment ensuring health & safety procedures are followed and to report any incidents in the correct manner. Analyse and identify all performance related issues and ensure appropriate steps to prevent loss. Administer all indoor performance in department through efficient coaching and monitoring. Ensure the HR function operates within the guidance of all employment legislation and procedures. Develop plans and supervise various departmental meetings and participate in various growth-based campaigns. Prepare regular reports, perform audit on various operations and evaluate processes as per business requirements. Analyse all opportunities and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Supervise effective compilation and collection of information and data to enhance growth. Guarantee the quality function is compliant with all regulatory requirements of ISO, BRC and other governing bodies. Ensure the logistics functions deliver to customers satisfaction in a timely required fashion. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. What are we looking for? A 3rd Level Degree relating to a manufacturing environment. At least 3-4 years’ experience in an operations management role. Working knowledge of quality systems requirements. Must be able to incorporate team participation and involve them in decision making. Possess the ability to handle and analyse statistical data and records and prepare the relevant reports. Will have effective communication skills with a vision to develop innovative plans to ensure better productivity. Desirable. Work experience with warehouse and logistics systems.
