Sales Executive (Technical), Job Ref. JO3103. All Ireland Territory. Perm. Salary Neg. DOE. Full-time Hours. Our client is a very well-established company based in Co. Donegal. Alongside manufacturing the company operates in within the Capital Plant and Specialised Access Equipment market within the construction sector and have many award-winning projects in their portfolio. They are now seeking to recruit an experienced ‘Sales Executive’. The position is based in their head office in Donegal but will involve travel through the island of Ireland. (A home-based location outside of Donegal may be considered. Role profile: This role is to maintain and support existing customers while expanding this existing customer base with new sales and hire with new client across the island of Ireland. What you will be doing: Prospect for new projects. Undertake project related presentations. Devise and present specifications and other documentation. Maintain market intelligence. Maintain CRM. Liaise with Sales & Management Team as appropriate. Build relationships with as required. Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Management. What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will have a min. of 3 years’ experience in the sale or hire of capital plant to the construction sector or plant industry. You will have a min. 3rd level degree in construction studies, civil engineering or similar discipline with experience in Auto-cad and reading drawings. You should have a clean and valid driving licence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and experience of selling into the construction industry or experience of cranes or heavy plant, along with an ability to interpret site layout drawings. Additionally, he/she will be a self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative with excellent communication skills and the ability to use computers and modern technology efficiently.
