HR Executive, Job Ref. JO3104. West Donegal. Perm. Salary DOE. Full time Hours We have a fantastic opportunity with one of Ireland’s finest award winning properties who are recognised throughout Europe and symbolise excellence in their field. We are now receiving applications from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the post of HR Executive. Role Profile: Assists with management and administration of the Human Resources function to include recruiting, training, recognition, wage/benefit administration, compliance with statutory requirements and the execution of employee relation activities, in order to provide each department with the personnel, guidance, and support necessary to achieve their customer service and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Assist in instruction of the management staff in effective recruiting and interviewing techniques using methods such as verbal presentations and written directions to ensure the hiring and retention of qualified and efficient employees. Assist and ensure that employees are developed and utilized to their maximum potential by controlling the implementation, administration and monitoring of all training programs. Instructs training classes, analyze and review current and proposed methods, consult with and offer recommendations to the management staff for improvement. Assist with monitoring the employee Performance Appraisal programs to ensure reviews are timely. Read and analyse evaluations and goals to ensure appraisal comments are appropriate and goals are measurable and achievable. Ensure compliance with all National and European laws as well as regulations and court rulings which pertain to Human Resources by reviewing current management practices, implementing new procedures and communicating verbally and in writing any new requirements. Provide assistance, guidance and counseling to the management staff and line employees. Assist with the control of the administration of wages and benefits to ensure the accurate and equitable application of same, analyzing and applying information retrieved from moderately complex reports, manuals and/or computer systems. Assist with review and appraisal of all personnel changes and paperwork for merit and accuracy. Organise and conduct employee orientation. Assist with supervision, coordination and motivation of the activities of the department staff. Maintain all personnel records and Human Resources files ensuring confidentiality where necessary. Compose, type and distribute general Human Resources correspondence, such as those announcing policy revisions. Create expectations, manage processes and hold people accountable for the agreed upon activities and time tables. Prepare P.O’s (Purchase Orders) as directed by the Human Resources Manager. Prepare monthly reports as required. Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies and procedures. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Human Resources Manager. Criteria: A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a HR Executive or similar role. Qualification in Human Resources. Previous training experience required. Excellent administrative experience essential. Highly skilled in computers and computer programs, particularly Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Possess an exceptional command of the English language. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision. Ability to deal effectively with all employees and employee representatives. Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing in order to prepare official memorandum and correspondence as well as provide clear and meaningful instructions, guidance and counseling to all employees. Thorough knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures. Ability to be a clear thinker in pressure situations and exercise good judgment. Interested in this role?
