We represent an extremely successful and expanding Manufacturing Facility with a client portfolio that stretches worldwide. They produce bespoke and innovative products for clients across many sectors. They wish to invite an experienced candidate to join them as a process technician.Role profile: We are currently seeking to recruit a Process Technician to support our client’s production processes. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a production environment, working hands on with production equipment and materials. He/She will play a significant role in the delivery of key metrics including; Speed, Tool Change Time, Job Change Time and Downtime. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to maintain accurate records of process and equipment data, using this information to enhance performance. Criteria: The successful candidate will be capable of identifying performance constraints in equipment and/or materials. These constraints will be resolved with the support of the Equipment Maintenance team or other Production personnel. Preference will be given to those candidates who have proven experience working on the Set Up and repair of production equipment. Additionally, the ability to identify and deliver opportunities for performance improvement will be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate will have a mechanical engineering background coupled with the skills and experience of a high-volume production environment. Particular emphasis will be placed on technical aptitude and a can-do approach, the ability to work on one’s own initiative or as part of a team is essential. This role is based in a multi shift operation where a flexible approach to working hours and meeting business needs will be required. Interested in this role?
