Reservations Manager, JO3168. East/South Donegal. Full time perm role. Excellent Salary DOE. Our client is a reputable Hotel located in East/South Donegal. They are currently seeking to recruit a Reservations Manager. This hotel operates all year round and has a busy Wedding, Functions, café bar and restaurant trade. Main function: The Reservations Manager will be responsible for revenue management and pricing strategy for bedrooms and group sales for this Hotel and sister Hotel. The post holder will be required to build excellent interpersonal relationships with a diverse range of external and internal stakeholders. The Reservations Manager will identify and apply the most effective pricing strategies at all times and continuously seek to improve revenue opportunities and efficiencies in the reservation and reception teams, as well as efficiently and effectively managing guest and customer inquiries. This role will require close collaboration with all management and staff to ensure that the most appropriate pricing strategy is followed at all times.Main duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the reservation department to ensure adequate resources are assigned to areas of need and that the required standard of service is provided at all times. Develop, monitor and co-ordinate room rate strategy to maximise RevPAR at all times. Implement revenue management strategy, operations, procedures and best practice. Prepare relevant departmental reports, including but not limited to, revenue reports, business mix reports, pace reports and revenue forecasts. Provide pricing for all corporate, leisure and group enquiries. Responsible for overall management of electronic distribution systems, online travel agency accounts and the relevant online management systems for the reservation department.Criteria: The ideal candidate will have substantial, recent previous experience working in a similar capacity ideally in a 4-star hotel. It is also important to be able to work on your own initiative as well as be part of the team. You should be able to demonstrate excellent management skills.Interested in this role?
