Senior Duty Manager, JO3171. East/South Donegal. Full time perm role. Excellent Salary DOE. Our client is a reputable Hotel located in East/South Donegal. They are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Duty Manager with Banqueting experience. This hotel operates all year round and has a busy Wedding, Functions, café bar and restaurant trade. Main function: The Senior Duty Manager will be responsible for monitoring and supervising the operational day-to-day activity of front-line customer services with particular focus on all banqueting activity. The post holder will be required to build excellent interpersonal relationships with a diverse range of external and internal stakeholders. The Duty Manager will assist the Heads of Departments and the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of all food and beverage, housekeeping, leisure, front of house and banqueting activity and will coordinate with all other department managers to ensure the highest level of customer service. They will promote a cost-conscious culture throughout the organisation while continuously enhancing all services offered through innovative customer services. This role will require close collaboration with the Operations Manager and all Heads of Departments to ensure the best possible standards of customer services and highest revenue at all times. They will work very closely with the Wedding and Banqueting Manager to ensure that all banqueting events overseen to the highest possible standards.Main duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Responsible for coordinating and supervising operational plans to meet the needs of strategic objectives and income targets. Monitor service standards across all areas of operations. Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to and up-to-date in each department. Contribute to the development of new customer service lines. Support all departments in delivering a high standard of customer services at all times. Retain responsibility and accountability for the hotel’s day to day operations including weddings, banqueting, events, restaurant and bar. This list is not exhaustive. Ensure that all public areas (reception/bars/function rooms/hallways/toilets etc.) are clean, tidy and up to the agreed standards. Engage with hotel guests and customers to ensure that the highest standard of customer service is achieved at all times.Criteria: The ideal candidate will have substantial, recent previous experience working in a similar capacity ideally in a 4-star hotel. It is essential for this role that you have a considerable level of Banqueting experience. It is also important to be able to work on your own initiative as well as be part of the team. You should be able to demonstrate excellent management skills.Interested in this role?
