They are now looking for a number of R&D Scientists to join them at their state-of-the-art facility in Dungloe. As an R&D Scientist, you’ll help our client to lead the way in the design, development, verification and clinical validation of novel diagnostic tests. Based at the Research and Development hub, you will support one of our client’s key areas of focus: Renal Disease, Oncology, Neurodegeneration, Gastrointestinal Disorders or Animal Health. You’ll have the chance to interact with national and international collaborative networks and experience novel technologies where biomarker discovery programmes and interrogation of antibody/protein interactions stimulate the development of novel multiplexed assays. To be considered, you will need: - A BSc, ideally a PhD, in a biomedical or life science subject. - A comprehensive understanding of immunoassay principles. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, as an R&D Scientist, you’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
