Permanent role, fulltime hours. We are currently working with a leading FMCG Food company who are growing at a rapid degree. Due to this growth they now wish to see applications from interested and suitable candidates to join their team as a HR Manager.This position will be a fully comprehensive and hands on role. A HR Manager must have a clear understanding of their employer's business objectives and be able to devise and implement policies which select, develop and retain the right staff needed to meet these objectives. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, monitor and manage all Human Resource policies and procedures for the company. Develop the existing induction programme and continually update the employee handbook. Recruitment Admin. Sickness and holiday Management. Assist in instruction of the management staff in effective recruiting and interviewing. Working closely with various departments, assisting line managers to understand and implementing policies and procedures. Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation. Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety. Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates; Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management. Preparing staff handbooks. Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits. Undertaking regular salary reviews. Negotiating with staff and their representatives. Interpreting and advising on employment law. Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures. Developing with line managers HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements. What we are looking for: A suitable candidate will demonstrate business awareness, management and organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information. You will have excellent IT, numeracy and interpersonal skills. You should have up to date knowledge of /and the ability to analyse, interpret and explain R.O.I. employment law and legislation and hold a recent HR qualification. Extensive relevant experience gained through previous employment in a similar role ideally in manufacturing or production is essential.
