Food & Beverage Manager, Job Ref. JO3282. South Donegal. Permanent Role. Salary is Negotiable (dependent on experience. Full-time hours. Shift work (includes evenings & weekends. Our client is situated in a historic part of South Donegal offering relaxed hospitality combined with a quality service. Renowned for their friendly approach, this hotel has a solid reputation of offering excellent service for all occasions, ensuring patrons return time and time again to enjoy their hospitality. They are now seeking to appoint an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join their ever-growing team. We are looking for a professional food and beverage manager to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will carry out the following duties: Manage food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards; Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel; Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards; Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service; Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns; Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures; Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork; Work as part of the hotel management team, deputising when necessary and provide shift management cover as required; Comply with all Health and Safety regulations; Report to management regarding sales results and productivity. What we are looking for: To be successful in this role you will have the following requirements: Proven food and beverage management experience; A hospitality degree, diploma or equivalent, though allowance may be made dependant on previous experience; A working knowledge of various computer software programs including MS Office; The ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently; A mastery in delegating multiple tasks; Communication and leadership skills; Up to date knowledge of food and beverages trends and best practices; The ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets; Be guest-oriented and service-minded.
