E-Commerce Manager, Job Ref. JO3278. South Donegal. Perm, Full time Hours. Salary DOE. We are delighted to be working with an award-winning retailer and service business operating throughout Ireland who are renowned for their excellence in customer care, to assist them in sourcing and appointing a suitably qualified and experienced E-Commerce Manager. Position Summary: The E-Commerce manager will assume overall responsibility for the company online store & presence. This will involve ensuring the website and online store are maintained, up to date and accurate. The E-Commerce Manager will also hold responsibility for ensuring the Web team are updating online information and fulfilling online orders in a timely fashion. Responsibilities & Duties: The successful candidate will handle all decisions in relation to the website, social media accounts, and online advertising. The role will also involve but will not be limited to: Long & short-term Business Development of the E-Commerce platform; Help boost online sales by improving the customer experience online building a strong strategic vision; Managing and overseeing the E-Commerce department; Researching and developing new online marketing strategies; Project development and presentation - The E-commerce Manager will liaise directly with upper management and present their plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence and e-sales; Uploading new products, imagery, videos etc. to the online store; Editing and uploading product photography and descriptions to the e-commerce platform and remove discontinued/out-of-stock items in a timely manner; Maintain the accuracy of all product information online; Develop product category pages in collaboration with the web team; Hiring & training of new staff within E-Commerce department; Constantly keeping up to date with market changes; Ad duties as requested by management. What we are looking for: 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position is essential; Previous experience in an E-Commerce/online retail position is essential; Experience in a Health & Beauty role would be a distinct advantage. A strong work ethic and proven track record of being proactive and using initiative within Retail; A clear understanding and proven delivery of good customer service; A positive and flexible approach, ready and willing to turn your hand to anything to get the job done; Able to deal with customer enquiries on own initiative, responding to queries and complaints in a constructive and prompt manner; Able to handle confidential matters with utmost discretion; Able to work independently and creatively, pre-empting and problem-solving issues as needed; Possesses excellent communication skills; is friendly, approachable and professional; Evidences strong interpersonal and team working skills, able to communicate successfully with a wide variety of people across all levels; Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills, able to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively; Displays accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role, due to the ability to pay attention to detail; Experience of successfully using computerised stock management systems, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office and e-commerce platforms; Ability to create/source and edit product photography and copy for online and promotional purposes to a high standard; Genuine interest in digital marketing and the future of online branding.
