Production Manager- Donegal. The Role: I this role the ideal candiodate will be required to co-ordinate the activities of Production personnel to achieve production metrics including throughput, changeover times, minimising downtime and driving ongoing improvement while having optimum output within production. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: • Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all H & S requirements and procedures are adhered to, including the reporting and resolution of all incidents or accidents and the correct use of specified PPE. • Ensure that all Production personnel are appropriately trained to carry out their role in an optimal way. • Establish strong working relationships with all departments ensuring a cohesive approach to delivery of budgeted metrics and other key performance indicators. • Ensure that all procedures relating to any aspect of product manufacture are fully implemented and adhered to, in line with customer and regulatory expectations. • Ensure that Production performance is driven to meet and exceed budgetary commitments for all shifts. • Ensure, through a considered approach to housekeeping, that the standards expected of an audit ready factory are achieved on a continuous basis. • Ensure that the material delivery and returns are in line with good manufacturing practice standards; correctly labelled, wrapped, stored and transported. • Ensure that there are adequate resources available for each shift based on the production schedule and that appropriate control is exercised on overtime spend and other production costs. • Manage the work and schedule of all reports including the update use of Time & Attendance records, holiday allocation and absence management in line with site requirements.
