This leading global outsource provider in manufacturing is a key employer in Donegal providing jobs to well over 200 people in the Letterkenny area. To support continuing development, they now wish to recruit a Cost Estimator & Program Specialist from a Medical Devices background. The successful candidate will be an instrumental member of the NPI organisation with ownership of Program Financials and Cost Estimating for the location. Responsibilities: Lead the co-ordination, development and preparation of highly accurate competitive quotations for new and existing customers; Provide support to the project manager in preparing and presenting quotations for new and/or existing products currently manufactured by the Company; Proactively identify programme financial risks and areas of improvement based upon spend patterns. Drive financial reporting for the NPI organisation (Cost plan, revenue plan, budget status etc.); Create cost and revenue plans. Collaborating with finance on the revenue recognition, P&L impact of the programme financials; Support the programme review reporting process with compilation of programme health reports e.g. timeline, milestones, dashboards; Liaise with the programme team and pre-production business partners in support of financial items as they arise. What we are looking for: Required Qualifications: Educated to degree level in a business-related discipline; 2 years’ experience in a similar role; Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Experience of SAP is desirable. Qualifications – Skills and Competencies: Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy; Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines; Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative.
