Site Manager, JO3504. Donegal Company, The role will be site based throughout Ireland. Sites are mainly in the Connacht and Leinster provinces. Permanent / Full time. Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 DOE. Responsibilities: ¿Responsible for scheduling and managing the operational resources (people and physical assets) in order to implement work safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising clients' satisfaction; ¿Supervise and oversee the direction of the project to ensure quality, safety and timely completion of deliverables; ¿Work collaboratively with the Project Manager to assist with pre-construction and constructability reviews; ¿Advise the Project Manager on the design, production/manufacturing and installation requirements for projects in conjunction with other members of the Construction Management team; ¿Where necessary, propose suitable changes to design to improve saving, ease construction programme, enhance specification and quality completion; ¿Check and understand all drawings and specification; ensuring that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the Project Manager in a timely manner; ¿Liaise with Project Manager, Site Engineers and Services Co-ordinator to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information; ¿Lead and direct subcontracts and directly employed labour on a day-to-day basis throughout the duration of a particular project; ¿Support the Project Engineer with day plans and operational schedules; ¿Manage the daily activities of the appointed Building Foreman and other relevant supervisors, in respect of Health & Safety, Quality and programme; ¿Take responsibility for checking and keeping records of delivered material e.g. concrete, concrete blocks, hollow rib decking, reinforcement etc. Ensures that all materials used on site are in line with their respective specification; ¿Control and monitor site waste in accordance with the Company’s Site Waste Minimisation and Management policy; ¿Responsible for plant that is issued to your allocated site and for ensuring it is appropriately maintained; ¿Ultimately responsible for implementing and maintaining appropriate site security mechanisms. What we are looking for: ¿Willingness to work flexible hours required for the job. ¿Must be willing to travel based on the requirements of the role. ¿Must have a full clean driving license with access to your own car. - All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. ¿Must be eligible to work in Ireland (or region of project. ¿A third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline. ¿A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar* senior role within the construction industry. OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar* senior role within the construction industry. AND must have previously managed projects from cradle-to-grave. ¿Must have worked on new build and/or refurbishment projects up to the value of £5M. ¿Must have a valid Safepass Card or equivalent * Similar role is defined as Construction Manager, Site Manager or Senior Engineer.
