Project Manager, JO3503. Donegal based role for a Donegal Company with travel to sites. Sites based mainly in Connacht and Leinster provinces. Permanent / Full time. Salary: €38,000 to €48,000. Responsibilities: ¿You will manage the day-to-day initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of allocated projects to ensure the project(s) is delivered safely and is a commerical success; ¿You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with an exemplary Health & Safety record; ¿Responsible for reviewing the overall scope of all allocated projects including; design, production/manufacturing and installation requirements for projects in conjunction with the Design Team and the Contracts Manager; ¿Schedule all labour, plant, equipment and material resources required to complete the successful delivery of projects; ¿Control and capture any variation or change to the schedule or scope of the project and for ensuring all commercial and schedule considerations are accounted for; ¿Review and implement appropriate project operating procedures and systems; ¿Define all required documentation and ensure that this is all valid and current before commencing any site activities; ¿Provide strong technical advice and management support to assist with the promotion of value engineering and all site construction options and solutions; ¿Timely preparation of all required pre-construction phase and construction phase deliverables (Programme, RAMS, Lift Plans, Schedules etc) for project clients and obtaining approvals from clients, architects, engineers and main contractors; ¿Assist with the selection of approved sub-contractors and negotiating of contract including works scope, commercial terms and conditions and H&S requirements along with Commercial Manager and or Commercial Director. What we are looking for: ¿Willingness to work flexible hours required for the job; ¿Must be willing to travel based on the requirements of the role; ¿Must have a full clean driving license with access to your own car; ¿Must be eligible to work in Ireland (or region of project) hat we are looking for; ¿A third level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline; ¿A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar* senior role within the construction industry. OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar* senior role within the construction industry. AND must have previously managed projects from cradle-to-grave; ¿Must have worked on new build and/or refurbishment projects to the value of 5M; ¿Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and usage of electronic mail. * Similar role is defined as Project Manager or Senior Engineer.
