Production Deputy General Manager, Job Ref. JO3499. South West Donegal. Perm, Full-time hours. Salary DOE. This award-winning Irish textile company established over 20 years ago and due to continued growth wish to recruit an experienced Manager to help lead their team. Responsibilities: The main purpose of this role will be to lead the day to day production activities to ensure that all customer orders are completed on time while ensuring compliance with all applicable quality standards. Develop and plan a robust production schedule based on sales for all customers whilst maintaining quality at all times; Implement Lean Manufacturing to production to reduce cost and increase manufacturing efficiencies throughout all areas of production; Supervise and coach key staff members to make them team leaders in certain areas of production; Deliver on company K.P.I’s and achieve defined business results through good Lean practices; Manage and develop a strong production team through training and motivation of all staff members; Forecast budgets material requirements to ensure cost effective purchasing for all production raw material; To maintain and work within set standards at all times whilst delivering on targets set for production; Report and communicate effectively with Senior Management. What we are looking for: Ideal candidate will come from a similar role and must be capable of solving problems and issues arising in production and provide solutions to the problems; Must show a strong work ethic and take pride in their role as Supervisor of the production team; Good communication skills and team player who will improve the team and deliver on set targets; Work alongside and manage maintenance to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum and to identify root cause and problem solving as a team. You should have strong manufacturing and people management skills.
