Brindley Healthcare is a rapidly expanding healthcare group which currently operates ten nursing homes throughout Ireland. The position of HR Compliance Officer is a full-time role and will be based at our Head Office in Convoy, County Donegal. The role will require travelling to our nursing homes throughout the country to carry out HR audits and fulfil other HR functions, as necessary. Job Overview. The role will involve assisting the HR team in the development and consistent implementation of the overall HR strategy while providing best practice advice and guidance on all aspects of HR activities. Responsibilities: · Review personnel files for compliance and work with Directors of Nursing and Administrators to bring files up to standard. · Educate Directors of Nursing and Administrators on personnel file compliance. · Conduct audits and follow up audits to ensure compliance after initial work is completed. · Provide feedback to management in relation to current status of HR compliance within the nursing homes. · Analyse findings and develop plans of action based on areas of concern. · Supporting the recruitment & selection process including advertising vacancies, attending and hosting career fairs, interviewing, reference checks, preparing contracts and other related documentation, co-ordinating mandatory training programmes and ensuring appraisals are carried out on a timely basis. · Assisting with employee relation matters and dealing with employee queries. · The role will include all the company nursing homes, any future acquisitions and may include work with the company’s sister companies. · Other ad-hoc duties as required by the HR Department. Requirements: 2 years’ experience in Human Resources in a fast paced environment, ideally in the healthcare sector. Good understanding of and experience in all aspects of Human Resources. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills at all levels. Strong organisational and planning skills with an ability to work on own initiative. Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business. Strong understanding of all aspects of Human Resources, employment law and related legislation. Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy levels. Proficiency in Word & Excel essential. Travelling is required for this role. All applications will be treated with strictest confidentiality.
