Brindley Healthcare is a rapidly expanding healthcare group which currently operates ten nursing homes throughout Ireland. The position of HR Officer (Contracts) is a full-time role and will be based at our Head Office in Convoy, County Donegal. The role may require travelling to our nursing homes throughout the country to carry out audits and fulfil other HR functions, as necessary. Job Overview. The role will involve assisting the HR team in the issue, execution and maintenance on employment contracts while providing best practice advice and guidance on all aspects of the role. Responsibilities: · Liaise with management to determine the correct type of employment contract for the employee. · Drafting and issue of the required contract and follow up to ensure execution of the contract by all parties. · Drafting and issue of addendums to contracts as required and ensure execution of same and ensuring the necessary ancillary paperwork is in place. · Conduct audits and follow up audits to ensure compliance after initial work is completed. · Ongoing review of existing fixed term and specified purpose contracts to ensure same are renewed on a timely basis, if required. · Liaise with administrators and employees to ensure a timely and efficient flow of contracts paperwork. · Provide feedback to management in relation to current status of HR compliance within the nursing homes. · Analyse findings and develop plans of action based on areas of concern. · Assisting with employee relation matters in relation to employment contracts and dealing with employee queries. · The role will include all the Group’s nursing homes, any future acquisitions and may include work with the Group’s sister companies. · Other ad-hoc duties as required by the HR Department from time to time. Requirements: Strong understanding of all aspects of Human Resources, employment law and related legislation. 2 years’ experience in Human Resources in a fast paced environment, ideally in the healthcare sector. Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy levels. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills at all levels. Strong organisational and planning skills with an ability to work on own initiative. Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business. Proficiency in Word & Excel essential. Travelling may be required for this role. All applications will be treated with strictest confidentiality.
