MYM Recruitment are delighted to be representing one of County Donegal’s most successful Grocery Retailers. They have a reputation founded on quality, affordability, and customer loyalty. Operating under one of Ireland’s most successful grocery brand names they have expanded over the years by constantly improving their facilities and in turn providing a relaxing environment in which to shop. They are now looking for a result orientated Retail Manager to successfully manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the store. Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Maximise sales & profit performance and achieve company KPI’s through demonstrating strong commercial knowledge. Inspire, lead, and motivate staff. Ensure your team delivers exceptional customer service on a consistent basis. Demonstrate strong organisational skills through implementation of systems. Deliver exemplary standards in store presentation, stock control & administration compliance. Recruitment and development of staff. Organise all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel. Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance. Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency. Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget. Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation. Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise. Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or display. Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store. Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines. What we are looking for: The successful candidate must demonstrate motivation and drive and have very strong planning and organisational skills. 3+ years of retail management or supervisory experience. A proven track record of managing people to realise their full potential. A strong background in Retail Management, particularly grocery. Adequate IT skills. Target orientated and results focused attitude. Strong visual merchandising skills. Knowledge of retail management best practices. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organisation and leadership skills.
