Being a local community owned co-operative, they have their community's needs at heart and use their expertise and local knowledge to provide a friendly and professional service to their customers. Due to a current surge in demand they now wish to employ an Accounts Administrator for an immediate start. The purpose of the role will be to support the efficient operation of the full range of activities of the business, including the use of Excel, accounting and working on your own initiative. Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: The use of Microsoft Excel on a daily basis. Working with Balance Sheets and Double Entry. Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail. Working under a relaxed management style so being trustworthy to carry out work independently. High level of administration on a daily basis. Other general office duties as required. Carry out general administrative duties daily. Ability to plan & organise own work and schedule. Essential Criteria: 3 + years’ experience in using Microsoft Excel. A good level of experience working with Balance Sheets and Double Entry. The ability to work on own initiative. Quick learner. A positive can-do attitude with the ability to think on your feet. Excellent communication skills.
