The successful candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal skills, organisational abilities, vision and leadership to lead, direct and manage the sporting activities and development of related resources and facilities.  They will play a key role in the ongoing development of LYIT sports facilities, including the development of a multi-million euro Letterkenny regional sports activity hub. The successful candidate will lead an integrated approach to sport whilst acting as an advocate for sport strategy ensuring the future of the Institute as a growth centre for sporting achievement.  The successful candidate will proactively exploit the future in facilities and industry trends and ensure all students and staff are engaged in the sporting life of LYIT.
