Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer – Donegal County Council Donegal County Council is at the heart of the local community and is a key provider of economic and social development in the County. An opportunity now exists in Donegal County Council for the position of Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer. Reporting to the Chief Fire Officer, the Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer will be required to lead a team in any of the main disciplines of the Fire Service: Fire Service Operations, Fire Prevention, and Major Emergency Management. The Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer will have responsibility for managing service delivery and development of functions in the areas delegated by the Chief Fire Officer and will, if required, have to be capable of undertaking the role of Rostered Senior Fire Officer at operational incidents.
